MicroPact Inc. announced Oct. 20 that it has been awarded a contract by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to deploy entellitrak as the Trident Case Management System for the federal agency’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Office of Law Enforcement (OLE).
Salient Federal Solutions Inc. will serve as a subcontractor to help MicroPact fulfill the contract.
“The project will deliver a proven law enforcement solution to NOAA that improves operations and drives better outcomes,” MicroPact CEO and Founder Kris Collo said. “Because entellitrak solutions take a Data-First rather than a process-first approach, enterprises are able to conduct and manage investigations and the myriad of associated information more efficiently and more effectively.”
“We are excited to be working alongside MicroPact in support of NOAA’s mission with the use of our innovative technology tools,” Salient CEO Brad Antle said. “Together, our combined experience and knowledge of legacy system modernization and case management solutions for the federal law enforcement community will ensure project success.”
NMFS OLE protects marine fisheries, wildlife and habitat by enforcing domestic laws, international treaties and obligations to ensure these global resources are available for future generations. It is the only federal law enforcement agency fully dedicated to the enforcement of federal fishery regulations.
The Herndon, Va.-based MicroPact will provide the entellitrak case management platform as a replacement for the Law Enforcement Accessible Database System (LEADS). The new system will allow for the documentation of enforcement activities that support the compliance of federal laws and regulations under the responsibility of the OLE.
Salient will assist in the OLE case management modernization effort with the entellitrak implementation by performing business and requirements analysis, testing/quality assurance and data migration activities. The day-to-day case management activities of law enforcement personnel will be improved, as well as quickly deliver appropriate reporting outcomes.
