Fairfax, Va.-based ICF International, a provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients announced Sept. 30 that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER), Office of Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation (OSRTI) to provide technical, training, meeting and outreach support.

The single award contract is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. It has a ceiling of $18.5 million and a term of five years.

“ICF has a long history and connection with EPA OSWER and the Superfund Program and is proud that OSRTI has entrusted us to support and enhance the continued success of its programs under this new prime contract,” ICF International Vice President Gayle Kline said in a statement.

Under this contract, ICF will support OSRTI in a wide range of areas including investigating, evaluating and documenting technological innovations and trends in remediation practices; providing cutting-edge technical assistance to EPA, other federal agencies, states and communities for site characterization and remedial cleanup strategies and approaches; supporting symposia and meetings; supporting the development and delivery of training programs and hands-on workshops for EPA and other cleanup professionals; and supporting OSRTI’s multimedia outreach activities.

WashingtonExec previously covered ICF International when the company was selected as a prime contractor for the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) professional services by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).
