Northrop Grumman Corporation announced Sept. 17 the appointment of Tarik Reyes as the Vice President of business development for its integrated air and missile defense division (IAMD) in its Information Systems sector.

Previously, Reyes was the director of the civil information solutions operating unit within Northrop Grumman’s civil division, where he was in charge of the operating unit’s business, including program delivery, strategy, execution, sustainment and growth.

Reyes came to Northrop Grumman from Microsoft’s consulting services organization, where he worked as a services executive. He has also worked as an executive within Visalign Corporation and Bechtel Corporation.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, where Reyes earned his bachelor degree in nuclear engineering and mechanical engineering, he went on to complete executive courses at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in finance and at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in strategy.
