The National Kidney Foundation will host the 34th Annual Kidney Ball at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, November 15, 2014.
The D.C. area has the highest prevalence of kidney disease in the U.S. with more than 700,000 affected, nearly 6,000 on dialysis, and more than 1,500 waiting for a life-saving kidney transplant. The National Kidney Foundation is the leading organization in the U.S. dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease. The money raised at the black-tie event will support research, patient services, public and professional education, and organ donation awareness.
John Wasson, of ICF International is this year’s Kidney Ball Chair. Auction co-chairs are Courtney Bromley, of IBM Federal, Deborah Ikirt, of Information Innovators, and Rod Seward, of RLS Consulting.
Tickets are $350 each. Sponsorship opportunities range from $2,500 to $50,000.
