The Nation’s Capital Cyber Security Community will host its 2nd Annual White Hat Gala “Casino Royale: Betting on Our Kids” on Thursday, October 23, from 6:30 to 11:00 p.m. at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, 1301 Constitution Ave. NW, in Washington, D.C.
Scheduled to attend the event are approximately 400 cyber security experts, leaders in the cyber security field, government heads of the industry, and VIPs and federal contractor executives, as well as Children’s National Health System friends and staff.
Children’s National Health System is the only exclusive provider of pediatric care in the metropolitan Washington area and the only freestanding children’s hospital between Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Norfolk and Atlanta.
The Children’s Hospital Foundation raises money to support the role Children’s National Health System plays in improving the health of children in the nation’s capital, across the country and around the world.
The itinerary for the evening includes a reception from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., dinner and program from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. and an after hour lounge and entertainment from 9:30 to 11:00 p.m.
Black tie attire is optional.
Individual tickets are $500.00; Thunderball Sponsor tickets are $2,500.00.
Funds raised at the White Hat Gala go directly to providing the vital support Children’s National needs to give the best treatment possible to its patients.
The 2013 gala raised $325,000.
The White Hat organization was established in 2004 in the United Kingdom to protect vulnerable children through charitable means. White Hat USA was organized in 2012 with the goal of raising money to help children at risk while providing networking opportunities for members of the cybersecurity community.
