The Professional Services Council (PSC), of Arlington, Va., announced Sept. 29 the appointment of 11 government contracting executives to the Executive Advisory Board of the association’s new Civilian Agencies Council (CAC).

“The Civilian Agencies Council will enable PSC to build on its leadership efforts on issues impacting the Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, and Veterans Affairs Departments, among others,” PSC President and CEO Stan Soloway said. “We are fortunate to have this extraordinary team of accomplished executives helping shape our agenda and leading our efforts.”

The CAC is chaired by Abt Associates President and CEO Kathleen Flanagan. Other EAB members include Gail Bassin, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, JBS International; Venkatapathi (PV) Puvvada, Group Vice President, Civilian Agencies, Federal Systems, Unisys Corporation; Larry Besterman, President and CEO, TWD and Associates; Tom Romeo, President, Federal Services Segment, Maximus; Nicole Geller, CEO, Government Contract Solutions; Julie Susman, President and CEO, Jefferson Consulting Group; Paul Leslie, CEO, Dovel Technologies; Scott Ulvi, President and CEO, Triumph; Rob Olsen, Chief Operating Officer, WBB; and Tom Weston, Executive Vice President and CFO, Acentia.

The Civilian Agencies Council was created in June and brings together separate PSC customer-focused committees that cover the departments of Homeland Security, Veterans Affairs, and Health and Human Services.

PSC is the national trade association of the government professional and technical services industry.
