The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) announced Sept. 4 the selection of MicroPact Inc. to deploy entellitrak as the Criminal Investigative Case Management Platform for the Forensic Audits and Investigative Service (FAIS).
The implementation of the system will standardize the investigative process and provide transparency and support to FAIS and GAO. Additionally, the system will assist GAO in resource management, quality assurance, and executive decision-making.
“MicroPact’s entellitrak platform continues to set the standard for federal agencies tasked with investigating criminal and civil cases,” Kris Collo said, Founder, President & CEO of MicroPact, in a statement. “Investigations are complex and rarely move through a system in a predictable pattern. Because of this, case management solutions that can dynamically adapt to emerging information and conditions better serve agencies than more traditional rigid process-centric systems.”
GAO’s FAIS provides the U.S. Congress with high-quality forensic audits and investigations of fraud, waste, and abuse, as well as other special investigations and security and vulnerability assessments for federal agencies.
WashingtonExec previously covered MicroPact on Aug. 12 when the company was awarded a $12.9 million contract by the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). The company also won SECAF’s 2014 Government Contractor of the Year for the $12 million to $25 million revenue division.
