    Trowbridge & Trowbridge Names Bob Smith CAO

    Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC (T&T), a company that specializes in delivering innovative IT solutions including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and unified communications services to the federal civilian, defense, and health markets, announced Aug. 28 that is has name Bob Smith as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).

    Smith, who reports to T&T President and CEO Karen Trowbridge, will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Contracts, Pricing, Human Resources, Facilities, and Information Technology teams.

    “Bob’s wealth of experience in building enterprise value and integrating the management of all our infrastructure elements will be vital to us,” Trowbridge said in a statement. “His deep understanding and experience with companies in high growth environments makes him ideal for this role at this dramatic stage of our evolution and also allows him to provide an immediate positive impact on the company’s performance.”

    “Karen and her team have done a tremendous job over the past several years growing the company in a challenging marketplace,” Smith added. “I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience to help T&T attain the next level of success.”

    Smith brings more than 30 years of experience in contracts, procurement, and corporate administration to the position. He previously held senior leadership roles at DMI, Catapult Technology, Wyle (formerly RS Information Systems), DigitalNet, SIGNAL Corporation, I-NET, and AT&T Federal Systems.

    He began his career as a warranted Contracting Officer in the U.S. Air Force.
