The George Mason University School of Business’ Brown & Brown Distinguished Speaker Series will welcome Teresa Carlson, Amazon Web Services’ Vice President Global Public Sector, to present at its October 10th event.
As head of Amazon Web Services Worldwide Public Sector, Carlson directs strategy, sales, operations and business development for Amazon’s Web Services and Cloud Computing business for organizations worldwide. She is also the lead public policy advisor for global government engagement.
Carlson has more than 20 years’ experience as a business executive and has earned industry recognition to include receiving the 2013 Federal Computer Week Federal 100 Eagle Award, being named to Washingtonian’s “100 Most Powerful Women” list in 2011 and 2013, and being named to Business Insider’s “2014 Most Important People in Cloud Computing” list.
