Richard Jacik joined Acentia as senior vice president and sector executive for health, the technology solutions provider announced earlier this month.

Jacik will be replacing the retiring Mike Raymond and will be tasked in his new post with overseeing business development, contracts and operations activities for the company.

“We are excited to welcome Richard to Acentia,” Todd Stottlemyer, Acentia CEO, said. “Along with Richard’s deep knowledge of the public healthcare space, his demonstrated ability to engage with and build trusted customer relationships will play an integral role in our continued expansion into the health IT market.”

In his prior post as vice president and senior account executive at CGI, Jacik oversaw the company’s accounts for the Food and Drug Administration, the Treasury Department and the Department of Veterans Affairs, among other projects.

“I am delighted to be joining the team of talented and dedicated professionals at Acentia,” Jacik said. “The company is well-positioned to continue on its path of success. I look forward to working with the team to bring innovative services and solutions in support of our healthcare clients.”
