NCI, Inc. announced yesterday that it has been awarded a $5.2 million task order under the Total Engineering and Information Systems (TEIS) III contract for IT services to support the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC), Fort Detrick, Maryland, Engineering Directorate (ISEC-FDED). The TEIS III contract was awarded in March, 2011 and is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract.

Under the task order, the Reston-based company will provide flexible quality control and information systems engineering at U.S. government and host nation installations in the U.S., Europe and the Pacific. NCI has expertise in the areas of cybersecurity and information assurance, engineering and logistics support, enterprise information management and advanced analytics, cloud computing and more. This contract will specifically focus on supporting local area network switches, wireless local area network devices, dense wave division multiplexing systems, voice systems, synchronous optical networks and Integrated Services Digital Networks.

“NCI has provided exceptional quality control support to the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command, Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate since 2007,” said NIC president Brian J. Clark. “In partnership with USAISEC-FDED and directly in support of its mission, our comprehensive approach ensures the demanding communication needs of today’s warfighter are central to every Army post worldwide.”
