KippsDesanto & Co., an investment bank that provides merger and acquisition (M&A) and financing transaction service for technology and defense companies, recently announced the hiring of Jamie Graham as the company’s new director of business development. Graham joins the firm after a successful first half of 2014, during which KippsDesanto closed eight M&A transactions.
“We are pleased to welcome Jamie to the KippsDeSanto team after successfully partnering many times over the years,” said Bob Kipps, managing director of KippsDeSanto. “Jamie’s network and ability to add value for industry executives and companies positions KippsDeSanto to continue as a leading transaction advisor for high-growth technology and defense companies.”
Prior to joining KippsDeSanto, Graham worked at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where she was the manager of business development for the Corporate and Securities-Technology practice. She has more than five years of experience working in the defense and intelligence industries and the Federal IT sector; in this prior role, she facilitated and maintained new and existing client relationships and led all of the industry sponsorships and events. Graham earned a BS in criminal justice from the University of Maryland.
“I am excited to leverage the KippsDeSanto platform with its proven team of investment bankers and to continue to be a valuable resource for company stakeholders in the Aerospace, Defense, Government and Technology industries,” said Graham.
