For the eighth year in a row, Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) has been recognized by Inc. Magazine in its 33rd annual Inc. 500|5000 list of America’s fastest-growing companies. The Bethesda-based company is one of only a small fraction of U.S. companies that have experienced consistent high growth, despite the recent challenges of our economic environment.

“What surprises me, even though I know it’s coming, is the sheer variety of the paths our entrepreneurs take to success, thematically reflecting how our economy has evolved,” said Eric Schurenberg, president and editor-in-chief at Inc. “This year there are far more social media and far fewer computer hardware businesses than there were, say, six years ago. But what doesn’t change is the fearsome creativity unleashed by American entrepreneurship.”

The list will be unveiled in the September issue of Inc. and will feature the most competitive group of companies in the list’s history. Representing America’s independent entrepreneurs, the list is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2010 to 2013. During that three-year period, DMI achieved a 361 percent growth rate, which positions the company in the top one percent of IT service providers by revenue and the top 20 percent for growth, according to Inc.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by Inc. Magazine,” said DMI founder and CEO Jay Sunny Bajaj. “To be included in the 500|5000 list for the eighth year in row is a testament to the hard work and ‘can-do’ spirit of the entire DMI team. I extend my thanks to all the employees of DMI for their hard work and ingenuity.”

The complete results of the Inc. 500/5000 can be found here.
