Join boxing legends and heavyweights from business and government, entertainment and community service at this year’s Fight Night fundraiser. Twenty-five years ago, the late Joseph E. Robert, Jr. created Fight Night to raise funds to help Washington, D.C.’s low-income children secure a brighter future.
Fight Night will bring together 2,000 attendees to enjoy an evening of auctions, entertainment and live professional boxing bouts. This annual event is one of the most highly acclaimed fundraisers in the D.C. area; last year, Fight Night raised over $3.9 million. Funds go toward providing education and healthcare services through Fight For Children and other organizations that support kids in our area.
Boxing legends such as Joe Frazier, Aaron Pryor and Roberto Duran have attended Fight Night in previous years. Kevin Plank and his company, Under Armour, Inc., have signed on as the presenting sponsors of Fight Night for the next three years. This black-tie event begins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13 at the Washington Hilton, 1919 Connecticut Avenue, NW. For more information, visit the Fight Night website.
