WashingtonExec’s executive happy hour gave DC-area’s top executives an opportunity to mix and mingle earlier this month. The exciting event, located at Maggiano’s in Tysons Corner, Va, brought over 50 executives together in a relaxed and informal setting.
Steve Tolbert, sponsor of the event, and Jana DiCarlo, founding WashingtonExec Executive Assistant (EA) Committee Chairperson, briefly spoke to attendees. Tolbert stressed the importance of building trusted relationships through forums such as WashingtonExec. DiCarlo emphasized the importance of supporting professional development and mentorship opportunities for life-long EA’s in the government contracting community.
Executives were able to mingle and connect with new faces, past employees, previous bosses, lost connections, as well as current teaming partners and competitors. The mission of these events are to connect government contracting executives of consequence through targeted and trusted forums.
