Information Innovators, Inc. (Triple-i) announced earlier this month the appointment of former SRA International (SRA) executive Edward Meagher to Chief Operating Officer of the Springfield, Va.-based IT serves firm.
Meagher previously served as the vice president within the Veterans Affairs and Military Health Programs at SRA and will in his new post head Triple-I’s daily operations and manage the company’s four business units to clients within the Defense, Federal/Civilian, Healthcare and Intelligence and Geospatial sectors.
Steve Ikirt, the chief executive officer at Triple-i, said Meagher’s experience in the federal IT sector made him a prime candidate for the appointment.
“We are ecstatic about Mr. Meagher joining our team,” Ikirt said. “Ed’s unparalleled experience in both industry and Government will extend Triple-i’s capabilities to offer IT solutions in Cloud services, data analytics and informatics, cyber security, information assurance, and IT service management across our Government customer base.”
The seasoned federal and industry veteran served prior to his role at SRA as vice president of CSC’s Healthcare Strategy group and boasts federal experience serving for three years until 2009 as deputy chief information officer for the Department of Interior.
The executive also earned FED100 Awards in 2001 and 2005 honoring his contribution to the government’s increasing acquisition, development and management of information technology.
Meagher said he is honored to join the 2001-founded company: “This organization has a clear and unwavering commitment to mission success, which is critical for establishing and maintaining lasting relationships with our Government clients,” Meagher said. “The experience and capabilities across the enterprise are diverse and exciting—and the people exemplify the organization’s commitment each and every day while supporting our customers. This is going to be an exciting journey and I can’t wait to get started!”
Meagher succeeds Franco Tao, the current President of Triple-i.
