SRA International, Inc. earlier this month announced it secured a five-year $148 million contract to serve the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) Information Systems and Technology Services (ISTS) through IT infrastructure and operational support.
GAO, an independent government agency, recently made mobility a focal point resource in its duty to hold federal organizations accountable for their use of American taxpayer dollars through Congress audit, evaluation and investigative services, according to an SRA press statement.
The ISTS office within GAO provides and maintains the group’s overall applications, systems and IT infrastructure.
Paul Nedzbala, the executive vice president of SRA’s health and Civil group, said the Fair Lakes, Va.-based company has supported GAO’s missions since the late 1990s.
“We have a deep understanding of the organization’s charter and goals and we are proud to lend our expertise to help GAO achieve mission success,” Nedzbala said.
The company also garnered earlier this month a $38 million IT support BPA to assist the Climate Protection Partnership Division (CPPD) of the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Read our coverage here.
