A-T Solutions Inc., an international leader in counterterrorism solutions headquartered in Vienna, announced Tuesday that it was awarded a $6.5 million five-year, firm-fixed price contract from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to conduct its Security Auditing Program.

The program is designed to provide the Port Authority and its security managers with a repeatable, scalable and proven methodology of conducting security audits of aviation and commercial critical infrastructure and key resources, the company said. Locations include Newark Liberty International, JFK International, Stewart International, LaGuardia and Teterboro airports, as well as One World Trade Center.
A-T Solutions will leverage its knowledge of security regulations, commercial airlines and airport operations to support an approach to auditing that takes into account the most likely times, locations, scenarios and circumstances under which security violations will occur, the company reported. This approach offers an adaptable process for audits, and the inherent data collection, data analysis and reporting take into account the existing physical infrastructure while concurrently allowing for airport improvement and construction.
Through its advanced software application “Signature Scene,” A-T Solutions plans to provide an automated audit and data collection platform that reduces the administrative time associated with the audits and required data entry while enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of reporting, trending and analysis. By working closely with each airport security manager and the airport security coordinators, A-T Solutions seeks to ensure that its iterative approach to security audits reflects the focal points and potential vulnerabilities respective to each location.
