Sotera Defense Solutions (Sotera) announced Friday that it has been awarded part of a prime $900 million contract with the U.S. Naval Space & Warfare Systems Center, to which it will supply services and equipment.

Sotera will provide services and support for the center’s Atlantic Transport, Computing and Infrastructure Pillar through a contract vehicle. The company will share in the $900 million ceiling with other chosen contractors, according to a Sotera press release.

Deb Alderson, president and CEO at Sotera, said, “We are very pleased to continue supporting the SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic mission through the TCI contract. SPAWAR is one of Sotera’s key customers. Over the last several years we have made significant infrastructure and personnel-related investments in the Charleston market to better align and deliver Sotera’s capabilities to SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic’s mission needs.”

Sotera provides mission-critical, technology-based systems, solutions and services for national security agencies and programs of the U.S. government.

The multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle will be used to acquire services and equipment and service solutions  related to a full-system lifecycle support including research, development, testing, evaluation, production and fielding of sustainable, secure, survivable and interoperable command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, information operations, enterprise information services and space capabilities, the company said.
