OnPoint Consulting Inc., a technology consulting firm, has been awarded a 10-year, $59 million U.S. Air Force IT support contract for the service’s District of Washington headquarters.
The headquarters, located at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., is the Air Force component for the National Capital Region under Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region Command, according to the company.
“We are excited to apply our expertise in cyber security, infrastructure services and enterprise systems to support AFDW under the AFNCR contract,” said Michael Agrillo, executive vice president at OnPoint.
Through the contract, OnPoint will support the AF National Capital Region government staff in maintaining architectural, technical and procedural data and products. The work will cover preparing and maintaining documentation and reports to support AFNCR compliance with applicable laws and regulations, improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions and supporting civil engineering efforts. OnPoint will also work on the AFNCR Information Assurance Program.
Subcontractors for work under the contract are Hewlett-Packard and Datum Software, according to OnPoint.
