Nazzic Keene, sector president of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), has been elected to the board of directors for Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, according to a statement released by the company.
“Nazzic joins a group of respected business and community leaders who generously volunteer their time and expertise to help advance the foundation’s arts and education mission,” said Arvind Manocha, president and CEO of Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. “I know she will be a valuable addition to the board and I look forward to working with her.”
Wolf Trap — dubbed America’s National Park for the Performing Arts — plays a valuable leadership role in both the local and national performing arts communities.Keene joined SAIC in 2012 and is responsible for customer relationship management, expanding the company’s long-term strategic business pipeline, driving growth and executive oversight of program execution across the enterprise, according to SAIC. Aligning as direct reports under her are the organizational groups representing SAIC’s clients to include: defense, civilian, state and local, commercial and international.
SAIC is a technology integrator based in McLean, Va that provides full life-cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering and enterprise information technology markets.
Keene prior to joining SAIC served as senior vice president and general manager for U.S. Enterprise Markets at CGI, and led the company’s U.S. expansion. She began her career in the communications and IT industry after completing her bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona. She also served as an executive committee member of the National Capital Region segment for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
