Array Information Technology (ARRAY), an IT service provider with specialization in the in the national security, defense and scientific sectors, has announced the appointment of Blair Vorgang as a client executive leading the company’s Army/ Navy business efforts in its Defense Systems group.
“Blair’s experience supporting the DoD community, both from an IT and mission perspective, adds significant capability to ARRAY’s management team,” said Jon Dittmer, vice president & general manager of the Defense Sector at ARRAY.
With more than 30 years of IT industry experience, Vorgang has held leadership positions in operations, business development, program and project management, and consulting.
Previously, Vorgang was STG’s group vice president for Systems Engineering and Integration, and was responsible for a $50 million worldwide P&L organization supporting the Department of Defense.
Before working at STG, Blair led day-to-day operations and growth at Cigital Federal, Inc., a subsidiary of Cigital, Inc. He has also held leadership positions with Avaya Government Solutions, Keane, Akamai and Oracle Corporation.
Blair came to private enterprise following a military career as a commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy.
