Capgemini Government Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of the Capgemini Group, a consulting, technology and outsourcing services provider, announced that it has appointed Galeos Group Chairman and CEO Phil Nolan to the company’s board of directors. Nolan will serve the board as an outside director.

Nolan brings to the board significant experience in business management and U.S. government services. In 2012, he joined McLean, Va.-headquartered Galeos Group. Before joining Galeos, Nolan previously served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Stanley Inc. Prior to CGI Group’s acquisition of Stanly Inc., Nolan helped the company grow from 20 employees to more than 5,000, and helped produce about $1 billion in revenue. At Stanley, Nolan also served as corporate secretary, treasurer, general manager, general counsel, and vice president of operations before being promoted to president in 1996, and CEO in 2002. In 2006, he was appointed chairman of the Stanley board of directors. He also served as an outside director on the special security agreement (SSA) board for Stratos Government Solutions Inc.
Before joining Stanley, Nolan served in the U.S. Navy nuclear power program as a submarine officer. He retired from the U.S. Navy Reserve as a captain with 24 years of experience.
Nolan currently serves on the boards of several companies, including NCI Inc., Camber Corporation, Pragmatics Inc. and INOVA Health Care Services.
