Common Operational Picture software developer Advanced Ground Information Systems, Inc. (AGIS) has entered into a strategic partnership with Randy Siegel of Center Circle Consultants.
Siegel, has been a seminal player in mobile technology around the Beltway for many years, and has been the driving force behind many of the largest small form factor computing device deployments across the United Stated Federal Government – including the recent 100K unit DISA MDM/MAS award. Siegel is the current Chairman of the Tactical and Wearable subcommittee for AFCEA National Defense Mobile Steering Committee (AFCEA DC) and has held management positions at MCI, Microsoft, Motorola, Fixmo and others.
“Unlike when I started out, Mobile computing is now ubiquitous. Therefore, with my new venture – Center Circle Consultants – the focus is not so much in getting organizations up and running in a mobile fashion for PIM, it’s more about how does one deploy best in breed mission critical applications to the edge in a secure fashion. Center Circle is a specialty consultancy in that we only take on a limited number of clients most of whom present a real differentiator or are doing novel things leveraging mobile technologies. AGIS is a company that is a pioneer in what I would characterize as Tactical Mobility,” said Siegel.
Siegel went on to say “I’m proud to be working directly with AGIS to help spread the word about their best in class Common Operational Picture (COP) software that can help increase mission effectiveness for Warfighters, law enforcement, first responders and many other tactical users. In my past mobility roles I have had the honor of working tightly with AGIS on the deployment of their LifeRing product to my U.S. Government customers and others in the Federal Mobile Ecosystem. I hold CEO, Cap Beyer in the very highest of regards – he’s a patriot and a thought leader in the tactical mobile market.”
Siegel will assist in strategy formation and partner channel development as well as being responsible for revenue generation and the growth of AGIS as a whole.
