Karsun Solutions, LLC this year is considered “top-notch” among its government consulting solution provider counterparts, according to CIO Review magazine.

The magazine recognized the enterprise modernization and transformation solutions company in its annual list of “20 Most Promising Government Technology Consulting Solutions Providers of 2013”.

The magazine said it evaluated hundreds of consulting companies and solution providers over the past few months and chose the top 20 based on their perceived capability to fulfill the government’s needs in supporting core business processes as well as in their ability to innovate in advanced technologies and customer management.

The magazine also evaluated companies based on their ability to bridge the gap between IT and Operations Technology, deploy Big Data and analytics and demonstrated expertise and innovation in mobility, cloud and social media in the government business context.

The 20 companies deemed promising by CIO Review were categorized alphabetically instead of being ranked among themselves.

Other notable area companies recognized in the list include C3 Systems, Engility Corporation, NETE Federal Services, Oxford Government Consulting, LLC,  Spartan Business & Technology, TASA IT Group, Inc,  TransparaGov, Inc, and VSE Corporation.

Check out our interview with Karsun Solutions Co-Founder Sundar Vaidyanathan where he discusses STEM outreach and innovation in the federal IT space.
