    Acentia Expands Business Development Team with Three New Executives

    Acentia has announced several of additions to its Business Development team. The company has appointed Carl Rosenblatt, Senior Vice President for Business Development; Liz Renninger, Vice President, Business Development for our Civilian sector; and Gary Stegman, Senior Capture Executive for Health. All three have had distinguished careers and will bring invaluable experience to the Acentia team.

    Carl Rosenblatt

    Rosenblatt has more than 20 years of experience developing business strategies and solutions for public and commercial customers. His expertise developed from his work at a wide variety of IT and consulting companies, including SRA International, KPMG Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers (Pwc), Pragmatics, and QinetiQ North America.

    Prior to Acentia, Rosenblatt was the Vice President, Business Development, at QinetiQ North America (QNA). At QNA, he led all business development activities including proposal operations, strategic marketing plans, marketing communications, and customer retention. Before working in the public sector and commercial technology, Rosenblatt was a sportswriter for both The Washington Post and the Daily Press, where he won the Virginia Press Association award for sports news writing. He holds an A.B. in government from Harvard University.

    Liz Renninger

    Renninger has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. She comes to Acentia from CACI, which she joined in 2004. In her role as Corporate Vice President of Business Development, she worked closely with CACI executives in six operational business groups to position the company for new business and recompete wins. Renninger has held several positions in the IT industry as sales manager and individual contributor responsible for the identification and capture of strategic business opportunities.

    Renninger was awarded Corporate Business Development Manager of the Year at CACI in 2006 and led the business development efforts for over $800 Million in new wins at the State Department, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Treasury, Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Veterans Affairs (VA). She is an ACT-IAC Fellow (ACT-IAC Partner 2007) and a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park.

    Gary Stegman

    Prior to joining Acentia, Stegman was the Vice President of Business Development for Planned Systems International, overseeing all business development, capture, marketing, and proposal activities in both the domestic and international markets. There he positioned the company to win several large contracts and task orders with values in excess of $100 million. He also defined strategic targets for company growth and led the development of market penetration strategies for those targets.

    Stegman is a graduate of Towson University, in Towson, MD.
