Unissant Inc. has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to develop and support the Next Generation Management System (NGMS), an initiative to integrate HUD Rental Housing Assistance programs.

The NGMS initiative seeks to transform financial and programmatic operations in support of HUD’s affordable housing mission, including risk and portfolio management, budgeting and forecasting, and portfolio and risk management. Unissant will build the NGMS platform to initially support rental housing assistance programs within the Office of Public and Indian Housing. HUD intends to expand NGMS to other programs in the future.
Unissant will build the NGMS platform using Oracle engineered systems, including Exalogic for high-performance data transaction processing and analytics, and a web portal based on Oracle’s WebCenter, to provide access to HUD headquarters and field offices, 2,000 public housing agencies, landlords, and 4.4 million tenant households. Unissant will also leverage MicroStrategy software to deliver reporting and ad-hoc data analysis capabilities to HUD users.
