SRA International, Inc. has appointed Tom Nixon as Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer.

Bill Ballhaus, SRA President & CEO commented on the appointment, “I am pleased to have Tom accept this new role. With more than 25 years of federal contracting experience, a strong track record in leadership and an ability to drive solutions that demonstrate a clear understanding of our clients and industry – he was the natural choice to champion our growth efforts in today’s extremely dynamic federal market.”

In his new role, Nixon will be responsible for enhancing SRA’s new business pipeline and developing the company’s growth strategy across its four business groups: defense; intelligence, law enforcement and homeland security; civil government; and health business groups. He will also continue to serve as the Acting Senior Vice President of the Health Group, charged with expanding SRA’s presence in the federal health market.

Prior to joining SRA in 2012, Nixon served as vice president of Marketing and Business Development for SAIC‘s Defense Solutions Group. He also held several operations positions, including senior vice president and general manager of the Technology Systems Division of BTG.
