Northrop Grumman Corporation has appointed Catherine Gridley as Vice President of Business Development for its Technical Services sector.

In her position, Gridley will have executive leadership responsibility for the sector’s business development and capture activities.

“Cathie’s immense leadership skills and extensive aviation, sustainment and services industry experience uniquely qualify her for this position,” said Chris Jones, Corporate Vice President and President Northrop Grumman Technical Services. “She has an impressive record of successfully leading large organizations and delivering the desired results to her customers while also implementing strategic plans to improve financial performance and grow new business.”

Gridley most recently served as vice president of DynCorp International’s aviation business with more than 6,000 employees located at more than 50 locations worldwide. Aviation Systems, managing the global aftermarket and end-user customer base of more than 1,400 customers in 140 countries. She also held leadership positions with Goodrich, TRW and Lucas Aerospace.

Gridley earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ithaca College in New York and a master of business administration in finance and international business from Binghamton University in New York.
