ITSolutions, an Acentia company, has been awarded a $27 million, 2.5 year contract from the Military Health System (MHS) Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) Directorate to provide innovative program management and technical support.

The EI mission is provide customer-centric, secure communications, and computing infrastructure (C&CI) products and services to enhance military healthcare operations. EI maintains a common, standards-based computing and communications infrastructure for the Department of Defense’s (DoD) global medical community. This infrastructure provides a robust network with the connectivity, availability, reliability, maintainability, data integrity, and information security that healthcare professionals need to provide high quality care to beneficiaries.
Acentia will provide program management and technical support, operational planning, and execution oversight as an integrated member of the EI team. This includes monitoring, engineering and validating designs, and operational activities performed by IT organizations supporting EI.
Acentia has been a partner to EI for more than 13 years, providing overarching engineering support to EI and its predecessor organizations, Tri-Service Information Management Program Office (TIMPO) and MHS Cyberinfrastructure Services (MCiS).
