Fight for Children’s 2013 Fight Night event at the Washington Hilton, in Washington, D.C, recently took place on Nov. 14, 2013. The event included leaders of business, government, and philanthropy for a night of live boxing and much more.
Referred to as D.C.’s premiere fundraising event, Fight Night aimed to raise a record-breaking $3 million for Fight For Children to support essential programs that provide education and healthcare services to children in need.
The Black-tie event featured a cocktail reception, a silent and live auction and an after party. In attendance were boxing legends Gerry Clooney, James “Buster” Douglas, Aaron Pryor and Michael Spinks, among others. The event also included a performance by world-renowned recording artist John Legend and an appearance by MC Hammer.
