Community Foundation for Northern VirginiaThe Community Foundation for Northern Virginia has launched a newly designed Web site at www.cfnova.org. The improved site will operate as a central location for the Community Foundation to share information with the public and to engage the region in an ongoing dialogue about philanthropy. The updated features include a modernized design, as well as improved functionality for informational access.

“The Community Foundation wanted to encourage users to engage in philanthropy in a deeper, more meaningful way,” said Eileen Ellsworth, President of the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia.  “The improved experience on our Web site will not only better inform the community about the critical needs in the Northern Virginia region, but will serve as a platform to make it very easy for donors and nonprofits to partner with us in addressing these issues.”

The Community Foundation’s redesigned features simplify the navigation, provide a cleaner user interface and improve options for online donors. Web traffic will be monitored to ensure the site is serving as a useful resource to the public.
