The Women’s Center is hosting the Inspiring Women’s Benefit gala on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Gannett Company headquarters in McLean, Va. AT&T is this year’s lead sponsor and Stacy Schwartz, Sales Center Vice President, is the event’s honorary chair.

The event supports women and families receiving counseling, education and other resources at reduced prices they can afford. About 380 government officials and business and community leaders will attend the event, with Nicole Geller, CEO of GSC Inc. and Denise Manning, Manning Outcomes President, serving as benefit co-chairs.

More than 60 percent of clients at the Women’s Center received counseling services for only $45 or less. Since 2011, the center has helped more than 4,000 women, men and children receive counseling, education, support and resources.

Maureen Bunyan will emcee the black-tie event and the night will feature cocktails, dinner and dancing, live and silent auctions.

The Women’s Center is the largest nonprofit charitable provider of mental health services in Northern Virginia.

Last year’s event raised more than $318,000. To read more on last year’s gala, click here.
