George Mason University’s Department of Mathematical Sciences will be hosting a morning networking event on Thursday, Oct. 17. The event will bring together alumni, students, faculty, and friends for a morning presentation by Dr. Padmanabhan Seshaiyer.
The presentation is part of the department’s “Share Your Science” series. Dr. Seshaiyer was awarded the “Program that Works” Award by the Virginia Mathematics and Science Coalition, directs George Mason’s Center for Outreach in Mathematics Professional Learning and Educational Technology (COMPLETE), and was selected to be one of the Nifty Fifty speakers by the USA Science and Engineering Festival in 2010 and 2011.
