Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient) has appointed Colonel James Hetherington as Director of Middle East Operations.

In his new role, Hetherington will lead Salient’s Saudi business office and manage the company’s current International Training Organization that supports U.S. Air Force foreign military sales managing multiple programs supporting the Royal Saudi Air Force.
Hetherington is a U.S. Air Force (USAF) veteran with more than 26 years of active duty experience in international relations, policy, operations, planning, budget, and intelligence. Prior, Hetherington was the Secretary of Defense’s military advisor to the US Ambassador and his staff, and was responsible for the execution of DoD policy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
