Array Information Technology (ARRAY) announced today that the U.S. Air Force has awarded the company a five-year task order to help sustain and support an important maintenance data system – Defense Repair Information Logistics System (DRILS).

“The ARRAY team is extremely happy to continue DRILS support with our TQS partner because of its vast potential to improve logistics operations and reduce costs,” said Jon Dittmer, vice president of Defense Solutions for ARRAY.

The contract calls on ARRAY to provide application services support to DRILS, an important logistics data system providing item unique identification tracking that enables expert analysis of repair components and processes for depot maintenance.

“DRILS becomes the sixth major logistics system in ARRAY’s Air Force portfolio. DRILS’ ability to perform root-cause failure analyses for avionics components has led to hundreds of millions in cost savings for the F-16 fleet. I look forward to our work to expand the scope and benefits of this capability,” said Mark Douglas, ARRAY Defense client executive.
