TISTA Science and Technology Corporation announced today the award of its first prime contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This small business set-aside indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract is valued at $25 million in support of financial process improvement, audit readiness and remediation (FPIAR).

As part of this award, TISTA also received its first task order to support the early initiatives of the FPIAR contract.

“Being a disabled veteran, I am very proud that TISTA continues to support this agency that is focused on our country’s veterans,” said Ahmed Ali, president and chairman of TISTA. “The FPIAR contract represents a significant milestone for TISTA, and we stand ready to meet the requirements that will assist the VA in its service of the veteran community.”

Under the FPIAR contract, TISTA will provide a variety of services including audit readiness and internal control, corrective action plan and process improvement follow-up, planning and performance measurement, trend analysis and audit liaison assistance, among many other tasks.
