There is a new kid on the block in the Dulles Tech Corridor. Ostrato was launched in 2013 with the single mission to provide innovative cloud software solutions that empower customers to govern and embrace heterogeneous cloud services through a simple, unified user experience.

The company’s technology enables organizations to harness the power of cloud computing environments, while providing IT a centralized platform to help govern cloud services and delivering a superior customer experience. The Ostrato CloudBroker software has connections to over 35 leading cloud computing service providers, allowing IT organizations to place internal private cloud services side-by-side with those of public providers and allow enterprise users to choose what best meets their requirements.

Ostrato recently announced its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN), which will makes it easy for enterprises to adopt, manage and govern Amazon cloud offerings.

“This is a significant partnership for Ostrato. As a part of the APN, we are closely aligned with the AWS offerings and can tailor our solutions to immediately address any changes to pricing or technology,” stated Jay Chapel, CEO, Ostrato. “This ensures that our customers have the most accurate, up-to-date information when selecting the cloud options that best meet their technology, budget and business needs.”

Ostrato combines a modern, online marketplace where users can compare and order cloud computing services with industrial-grade workflow and scalability, including integration into automation and work flow systems. CloudBroker delivers comprehensive visibility and offers reporting features that ensure efficient and effective cloud resource management.
