Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient) today announced its award of a subcontract from Merlin RAMCo, Inc. supporting the Saudi Support Personnel (SSP) contract. The $4.4 million contract has a 12-month base with six-month option period and calls on Salient to provide highly qualified instructors to support the training needs of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) as a result of the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program.

The SSP contract supports the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and Air Force Security Assistance Training (AFSAT) Squadron.

“Supporting AETC and AFSAT by leveraging our forward thinking and training capabilities anywhere at any time has been a strategic priority for Salient. It is an honor to apply our selectively qualified instructors for such important missions,” says Bill Parker, COO of Salient. “We look forward to providing MRI and the Royal Saudi Air Force with solutions and training that will enable them to effectively deliver and exchange information with other nations in the most effective manner.”

AETC is the executive agent for all Air Force sponsored international training and education. Under AETC, AFSAT develops, delivers, and manages education and training solutions in support of U.S. Security Cooperation objectives. The training program managed by AFSAT directly supports the RSAF’s goal of modernizing its Air Force.

The work will be performed in strong collaborative support from Salient’s Talent Operations Center (TOC).
