Dynamics Research Corporation (DRC) today announced that it’s been awarded with a new task order under the Chief Information Officer—Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) contract to provide technology, management, and evaluation services to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The contract has a value of $11.4 million and has a five-year period of performance.

“The rigorous evaluation of enterprise IT systems and processes is critical for enabling agencies like the NIH to maximize their technology investments and uncover new ways to strategically leverage technology for improved mission outcomes,” said Jim Regan, chairman and CEO of DRC. “With this task order, our first task order under the CIO-SP3 contract, we will extend our technology expertise, management consulting insight and healthcare domain experience in support of this new customer.”

Under the terms of the contract, DRC will provide independent verification and validation expertise to support the NIH IT enterprise system project managers in their efforts to maximize their IT investments. The technical services provided will include assisting the NIH enterprise system and projects in risk management and promoting use of best-in-breed technical approaches.
