Software AG Government Solutions today announced it has received a Business Process Management (BPM) agreement from the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). The agreement is valued at over $17 million in license and optional services.

The Command consists of a team of approximately 150,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, civilians, contractors and commercial partners all working together for our Nation.

“We are very pleased that USTRANSCOM has chosen to expand the use of our software as a cornerstone of their business process re-engineering and transformation initiatives,” said Tod Weber, chairman and CEO of Software AG Government Solutions. “We look forward to our strengthened relationship and providing them with an unparalleled level of support.”

He continued, “This agreement is indicative of the significant potential we see in providing BPM solutions to our federal customers through our new Government Solutions company. It further underscores the widespread adoption of our webMethods and ARIS suites across the extended Department of Defense ecosphere.”
