Republic Capital Access, LLC (RCA) announced that former Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, Kenneth J. Krieg, has joined the RCA Executive Board.

“We are elated that Ken has agreed to join our Executive Board,” said Ed Stucky, president and CEO of RCA. “The diversity and breadth of Ken’s experience in the private and public sector – senior policy and procurement official, executive of a Fortune 200 company, noted expert on corporate governance – will be priceless as RCA continues to grow and expand its product offerings.”

Kreig has served in a variety of defense and foreign policy capacities, including positions at the White House and the National Security Council Staff. He also previously founded Samford Global Strategies, a consulting practice that specializes in helping companies manage strategic change.

“It has been a pleasure watching RCA develop into the fastest growing specialty finance company serving the government contracting community,” said Krieg. “RCA’s program is unique in that it serves both small,up-and-coming contractors, as well as large, well-established companies. I look forward to being an integral part in their continued growth and development.”

Krieg currently serves on several Boards of Directors including API Technologies, Twisted Pair Solutions, Aurora Flight Sciences, and JackBe. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of LMI, the Proxy Board for DRS Technologies and is a fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Center for Naval Analyses.
