Parallel 6 recently appointed Jesse O’Gorman as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. O’Gorman is responsible for the management and execution of Parallel 6 operations, which include business development, strategic alliances and customer satisfaction across all service lines and markets.

From San Diego, O’Gorman will continue to serve on the advisory boards for Blackstone Technology Group’s Federal Consulting Practice and Efiia Consulting; both firms are in Washington, D.C. He will also remain a member of AFCEA International and the American Council for Technology – Industry Advisory Council.

Prior to his current role, O’Gorman spent the past 11 years as a Partner and Executive Director at Blackstone Technology Group, where he established and led the firm’s Federal Consulting Practice and Washington DC operations. Before joining Blackstone, O’Gorman was a co-founder and Director of Operations at Brainpower.com, an online exchange that connects contract technology professionals with hiring companies. He was also a co-founder and President of iCynergy, a technology consulting and solutions firm.
