Creative Computing Solutions, Inc. (CCSi) recently announced it has renewed five quality certifications and ratings in only four months. CCSi was recently re-certified for ISO 20000-1, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, and re-appraised and rated at Maturity Level 3 organization-wide in CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) and CMMI for Services (CMMI-SVC) plus Service System Development (+SSD).

Organizations rated using the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) have predictable cost, schedule, and quality. The ISO International Standards certify that a companies’ products and services are secure, reliable and of good quality. The standards are strategic tools that reduce costs by minimizing waste and errors and increasing productivity. These certifications and ratings show that quality measures and best practices have been institutionalized into the company’s core.

“The foundation of our company has always been strong processes and procedures. These renewed CMMI Ratings and ISO Certifications demonstrate CCSi’s ongoing commitment to a quality and process-driven approach when delivering services to federal customers,” said Dr. Manju Bewtra, founder and CEO of CCSi. “These ratings and certifications are not a requirement for many of our contracts, but they provide proof that our processes are sound and that lowers the risk for our clients, knowing that quality practices have been internalized.”

According to the Published Appraisal Results System (PARS) at the CMMI Institute, only three companies in the U.S. have achieved CMMI-SVC+SSD organization-wide. Only CCSi and one other company in the U.S. have ratings in version 1.3 of both model constellations: CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC+SSD.

“CCSi has seen the direct impact on business that the ISO Certifications bring,” said Dr. Naren Bewtra, president and COO at CCSi. “A clear example of this is the 2012 award of a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Program Contract, due in part to our ISO 27001 Certification. Under this contract, CCSi provides next-generation analysis, threat detection, and handling of attacks and malicious code and other security services in support of CMS’s new virtual data center, eCloud. The ISO 27001 Certification for Information Security Management provides evidence that we can be trusted to keep our data as well as our customers’ data secure.”
