    SAVE THE DATE: NVTC Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Committee Hosts Inaugural Event June 5th

    The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) recently announced its newly-formed Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Committee. The Committee will host its inaugural event, Mission Critical IT: From Data Centers to the Cloud, Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner.

    The event will feature a discussion on critical issues, challenges and priorities that are driving mission critical IT, data centers and the cloud.

    The event will also feature the following speakers:

    • Vishal Agrawal, President, Healthcare Solutions, Harris Corporation
    • Shawn Henry, President, CrowdStrike Services
    • Scott Renda, Leader, Federal Cloud Computing and Data Center’s Consolidation Initiative, Office of Management and Budget

    Author Andrew Blum will introduce the concept of “where the cloud lives” while presenting key insights from his best-selling book Tubes: A Journey to the Center of the Internet. The first 200 people to arrive will receive a free copy of Blum’s book.

    Advanced registration is required. Free registration for press, but press credentials are required for entry.
