CRGT Inc. recently announced its award of a new four-year, $4 million contract with the U.S. Army Chemical Materials Activity (CMA). The firm received the award through the National Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment (NITAAC) CIO-SP3 contract.
CRGT has supported the CMA for the past 14 years by providing systems analysis, computer programming and systems and network systems operation services, as well as by managing all equipment and software required for the electronic document management application, the Document Control System (DCS).
“We are very proud to participate in this vital process for the protection of U.S. citizens,” said Tom Ferrando, CEO and president of CRGT. “Our history of working closely together with the CMA enables us to best support the program’s IT needs as the program continues.”
The CMA mission is to enhance national security by storing and ultimately eliminating U.S. chemical warfare materiel (CWM), and supporting CWM responses.
