CACI International Inc. recently announced it has appointed Larry Clifton Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President of the firm. Clifton had been serving as Acting Chief Human Resources Officer since February. In this role, Clifton will continue to provide strategic direction for the full range of CACI’s human capital functions, with an emphasis on employee and leadership development and talent management initiatives.

After serving in a number of leadership positions with the U.S. Air Force, including commanding a unit that directly supported the President of the United States, Clifton joined CACI in 2000. During his time at the firm, he has served as a CACI recruiting and workforce planning senior leader, and has also played leadership roles in managing other important HR functions across CACI.

“Larry Clifton is a veteran CACI leader who offers exceptional institutional knowledge of our company and our human capital programs,” said Ken Asbury, president and CEO, CACI. “As Acting Chief Human Resources Officer, he helped shape a human resources organization that is maximally responsive to both the needs of our employees and the success of our business. Larry has been an innovator for us for many years, and we look forward to his continuing contributions.”

While at CACI, Clifton established an award-winning team and comprehensive infrastructure that advanced human capital goals, created new outreach to America’s veterans, and sustained the company’s culture of honesty and ethics throughout the workforce.

“Larry Clifton has been an important contributor to CACI’s growth for more than a decade,” said John Mengucci, president and COO of U.S. Operations, CACI. “His human resources expertise has helped us establish business, strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice, and retain our base of talented professionals.”
