The American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) today announced the election results for the ACT Executive Committee and the IAC Executive Committee. The new leaders will take office on July 1, 2013. Rick Holgate (DOJ) was elected ACT President and will assume the role as of July 1, 2013. Casey Coleman (GSA) was elected Executive Vice President. She will become ACT President as of July, 2014.

New ACT Executive Committee members include Greg Giddens (VA), Adam Goldberg (DOT), and Don Johnson (DOD).

“We are excited to bring new talent to the Executive Committee,” said Darren Ash, current president, ACT. “The ACT Executive Committee sets the strategic direction for ACT-IAC and ensures that we are providing true value to government and the citizens. The newest Executive Committee members will strengthen an already outstanding leadership team.”

Jim Williams (DAON) becomes IAC Chair on July 1, 2013 and Dan Chenok (IBM), elected IAC Executive Vice Chair, will assume the role on July 1, 2014. Carol Miller (LCG, Inc.) and Wayne Davis (CenturyLink) were elected to second terms on the Executive Committee. Elected to their first terms were Lisa Akers (ASI Government), Brian Bonacci (Level 3 Communications), Debbie Granberry (CSC), Lisa Martin (LeapFrog Solutions), and Adelaide O’Brien (IDC Government Insights).

“The IAC membership has again selected an outstanding Executive Committee that well represents the broad diversity of IAC,” said Dale Luddeke, current chair, IAC. “I am confident that our elected members, under the leadership of Jim Williams, will continue to lead with great insight, passion and courage as we serve to help improve the mission and business of government through our unique collaboration with ACT.”
