TASC, Inc. recently appointed Randy Phillips to Senior Vice President of corporate development and Chief Strategy Officer. The executive will lead the development of TASC’s corporate strategy, identify and execute acquisitions to extend the company’s core offerings, and contribute to priority growth initiatives.

“As government budgets get tighter, it is essential that TASC’s customers have the solutions and insight they need to achieve both mission success and affordability objectives,” said David Langstaff, president and chief executive officer of TASC. “Randy will help TASC complement our core offerings to provide the next-generation solutions required to meet current and emerging national security and public safety challenges.”

Phillips previously served at CSC, where he was Vice President of corporate development and strategy, responsible for mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategic planning and venture investments. He also served at Alcoa, leading global growth initiatives in the U.S., Europe, Africa and Asia. Early on in his career, Phillips worked at TRW Inc. in corporate development, engineering and management roles, and was responsible for TRW’s merger into Northrop Grumman.
