Spring Mobile Solutions Inc. recently announced the promotion of Conor Keane to President and CEO of the firm. Keane, who previously served as Chief Sales Officer, brings more than 28 years of corporate leadership and relevant industry experience to his role and succeeds David Mitchell; who had been CEO since January of 2012. Mitchell will continue to serve on Spring’s board of directors.

“Spring Mobile Solutions is at the forefront of cloud-based enterprise mobile application development and is built on over 12 years of experience as a provider of the most solid enterprise mobile application development platforms in the industry,” said Keane. “Enterprises need applications to support their mobile field forces, and do not have years to wait for implementation of these solutions. Spring provides companies the ability to deploy powerful, easy-to-use mobile applications to the field in less than ten weeks. I am excited to be leading Spring as we continue to move forward with our strategy of building the most innovative and game-changing enterprise mobile applications on the market today.”

Prior to Spring Mobile Solutions, Keane served as Senior Vice President of Professional and Technical Services at Global 360. He also served as Senior Vice President of Global Services for webMethods, and prior to that was a partner at KPMG Consulting.

“Mr. Keane has been a key asset to the leadership at Spring Mobile Solutions and we are very excited to have him succeed David Mitchell as CEO,” said Patrick Kerins, chairman of the Board of Directors of Spring and general partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA).

Spring Mobile Solutions has also announced the appointment of two new additions to its sales leadership team, adding Craig Witt as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, and Bill Padula as Vice President of Global System Engineering. Witt previously served at TIBCO Software as Vice President of Sales for Central U.S. and Canada. He has over 25 years of sales and sales leadership experience, having held executive leadership positions at webMethods, Business Objects, OpenText, Timeline, and Comshare.

“I am pleased to have Mr. Witt leading our global sales team. He has a solid and proven track record of leading sales organizations to exceed their targets,” said Keane. “I am confident that he will help us achieve our goals of expanding our global customer base and ramping up our North American presence.”

Bill Padula comes to Spring from SAP, where he served as Vice President of Enterprise Mobility. He has more than 14 years of executive leadership experience in the enterprise mobility industry. His experience also includes executive leadership at Syclo, as well as consultancy experience with Calypso Systems and Business Data Services.

“Mr. Padula’s extensive background and knowledge of our industry is exactly what we need to take our sales efforts to the next level,” said Keane.
